Insect Belt
Full-grain vegetable tanned bridle leather adorned with five solid brass stampings of various insects: a butterfly, beetle, honeybee, cicada, and stag beetle. Belt fastens with a solid brass buckle at the back. The wavy shape and metal adornments were often found on vintage belts from the 1940s and 1950s.
Exercise caution when wearing knits or delicate fabrics to avoid snagging on the insect legs
2” at the widest part, tapering down to 1” at the back
Five holes spaced 3/4” apart
Zucchini color leather shown in photos. Click the “Add To Cart” button to specify your color selection and size.
The easiest way to determine your belt size is to measure one of your own belts from the edge of the buckle to the hole most commonly used (see last photo). Do not go by your pants size.
Each belt is custom-made by hand and we’re only a 2-person team making belts outside our day jobs, so please allow 2-3 weeks for us to make your belt.
